Kosovo Assembly adopts six international financial agreements

The Kosovo Assembly with a majority of votes adopted on Friday an agreement with the World Bank for a US$ 22 million loan. It is said that the agreement will help impact the country’s economic development. MPs adopted another five international financial agreements. Finance Minister Bedri Hamza said the six agreements are very important for Kosovo, “and are not dedicated to any of the political parties or an institution, but to all citizens of Kosovo”.
“The importance of these agreements consists with the economic aspect, because they will help improve the quality of life for all Kosovo citizens. They will influence the improvement of governance, transparency and accountability and they will have special importance for opening further possibilities of cooperation in the future with those international institutions and with our international partners,” Hamza said.
