Daily newspaper Zëri runs a full-page interview with Robert Cooper, the EU facilitator of talks between Pristina and Belgrade in Brussels, who recommends to Edita Tahiri and Borislav Stefanovic, the heads of the negotiating teams, to accurately inform the public about the agreements in order to avoid possible confusions.
Cooper told the paper that he understands that the two parties have to express their own perspectives, but the agreements are clear and Tahiri and Stefanovic are responsible for informing their public.
Cooper said that new agreements could be reached in the next meeting, which will be held before summer leave, without specifying the matters. More important, according to him, is the implementation of the agreements and if working groups will run into problems of implementing the agreements then the groups will sit together with Tahiri and Stefanovic and discuss those problems.
Cooper also said that talks are not a competition in which there are losers and winners. He argued that both parties are winners because they approximate with the standards of the European Union.
